Colonel Deakins after a Voodoo ride in 1975. This ride was in conjunction with his briefing the Canadian Forces 410 and 425 Squadrons at Canadian Forces Base Bagotville. He briefed the Air National Guard Squadrons and Canadian Squadrons that were flying the F-101 on control losses (the Pitch Up) and the technique to recover from the Pitch Up
